Portugal are the Euro 2016 champions. A solitary extra time goal by substitute Eder gave Portugal a historic win in the Euro 2016 final against the hosts France. It was heart break for France as they started as clear favourites going into the final in front of their home crowd. Though the Portuguese tram lost their captain Cristiano Ronaldo to injury at 24th minutes of the match but they defended well and fought hard to emerge victorious.
