Samantha Ruth Prabhu

The most recent name in this list is Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Reportedly, Samantha turned down the offer to work with Shah Rukh in his upcoming film directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee. Now Nayanthara has been roped in for the role. According to reports, Samantha had refused the offer as she was then planning to focus on setting up a family with Naga Chaitanya. Naga and Samantha are now divorced.

Sridevi

Shah Rukh Khan has been a big admirer of Sridevi. However, very few people know that Darr was initially offered to Sridevi, which she refused due to unclear reasons. Anyway, the project went to Juhi Chawla, and the rest is history.

Karisma Kapoor

Karisma Kapoor was just as successful as her younger sister Kareena during her era. Interestingly, Karisma has refused not just once but twice, to work in movies starring Shah Rukh Khan. Initially, she was offered the role of ‘Tina’ in Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota hai. She also refused to work in Ashoka with Shah Rukh Khan.

Sonam Kapoor

Anil Kapoor had criticized Shah Rukh Khan for declining to work in the Oscar winning movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. Anyway, his daughter Sonam has also refused to work with Shah Rukh Khan. Reportedly, she declined many offers claiming that the chemistry between the two may not work.

Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut’s disappointment with the Bollywood biggies is a secret to none. She has been an open critic of the Khans. According to her, working with the Khans has no longevity. She feels that working with the Khans can’t take her status to any higher level. Moreover, she feels that working with the Khans won’t add to her list of achievements in any way. Life is all about change. As they say, change is the only constant in this world. And Bigg Boss is no exception. In the past decade, the grand reality show has witnessed significant transformation. Not just the viewers, but winners like Shweta Tiwari have also accepted that the house and its rules are completely different today as compared to what it was a decade ago.

Here is a list of the big changes the house has witnessed over the years.

Violence becomes a norm!

One of the biggest changes is that violence has become a norm for the contestants. There was the time when a contestant was even thrown out of the house for a little violence. The scenario has completely turned around these days! Now @BiggBoss pushes housemates to be aggressive for TRPs .When they indulge in street fights, they aren’t stopped! Someone is throwing scorching hot tea on a fellow contestant, whereas someone else is slapping, beating another housemate etc. After enough BS content, it was absurd that the host came up with so much gyan on #WKV. Location:

The location of Bigg Boss house has also changed. For the first four seasons the house was set up in Lonavala. From the fifth season onwards, or ever since Salman Khan became the host, the house was shifted to Kajrat. The setup was again brought back to Lonavala, and then to Goregaon film city.

In terms of fashion treatment:

Bigg Boss has transformed into a fashion show of sorts. Shweta Tiwari pointed this out recently. Earlier so many clothes and much makeup was not allowed. There was a restriction on the number of clothes the contestants could carry inside the house. Things are completely different now. The contestants can be found wearing designer clothes, and are even provided spa sessions. The contestants are getting fresh sets of clothes each week as per their needs through their families and managers. Needless to say that this change is intended towards maintaining the glam quotient in the house.

Connection with the outer world

During the early days, there was zero contact with the external world for contestants like Shweta Tiwari. Massive change since then. These days the contestants get to interact with audiences with the help of “caller of the week”. They also get numerous opportunities to meet and interact with their friends, and families. In the earlier seasons, only wildcard contestants were allowed to get inside the house. Things like film promotions in the show or house were non-existent. How it is destined to be a Kangana movie:

Yes, you guessed it right. We are talking about the upcoming bollywood movie ‘Sita: The Incarnation’, which stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead. The makers have finally locked Kangana for the role after contacting almost all the ‘A’ list actresses. Alia Bhatt was the top favorite of the makers, as per the producer Prem Joshi. But according to reports, Alia interfered in the script and wanted to scrap the child part of the character, and emphasize the youth part. The makers couldn’t agree to her terms. SO shw out. The makers also seem quite happy about having her onboard and have enough confidence that Kangana will be able to pull off this INR 150 crore worth project. It is reported that the movie will not be about her abduction, 14 years of isolated forest living or anything about her post-marriage aspects. Her (Sita’s) excellence in scriptures, her skill in horse riding, management, etc will be shown in the movie. Interestingly, the movie will start from her childhood and end at the ‘swayamvar’. Bigg Boss is one of the most challenging reality shows to participate in, mainly because of its highly diverse audience base. Here the audience wants you to be fair, but in no way be a ‘good boy’. It means that the audience wants to know that you have the potential to be ‘bad’, but you are acting fair and square. In short, you need to be ‘cunning’ to survive in this house. And, Karan Kundrra has all these attributes in plenty. Basically, Karan has learnt the art of coming out with flying colours on the camera quite well. Take the case of the Shamita Shetty incident where he bluntly called her ‘aunty’, and then quite effortlessly and easily, apologized as well. In both cases Karan grabbed the headlines .

Karan is one contestant who seems to have done a lot of homework prior to entering the house. He is not like a Rimi Sen or a Sahil Shroff who are stamped as inactive players.He is strongly engaged without making fights personal. The way he schooled Pratik Sehajpal exemplifies how to remain perfectly involved in the house, without making enemies. Now, someone watching Bigg Boss 15 closely can easily see that he is not in a mood to make friends or foes, just to play the Game by giving his 100%.

When it comes to comparing Karan with any of the past contestants, it can be said that he is just unlike any other contender before him. He is well-controlled like Vikas Gupta, but certainly not as melodramatic or cry baby. He is not a shouter like KRK, Gautam Gulati, or Ajaz Khan, but is always completely involved in every task. He is also not bullish like Sidharth Shukla neither does he try to be a romantic.His game plan has no room for luring girls as by chasing girls or remaining within a group, a significant percent of votes get cut. Yet he shows aggression when required, and mingles with the girls quite smartly. Karan is a calm person, but not as naïve as Rahul Roy.

In short, he is not into excess of anything as he understands that being typecast inside the Bigg Boss house is boring. And, being a bore inside the Bigg Boss house is a sin. You can be anything, any level of bizarre, but you must not be boring inside the modern day Bigg Boss house.

It can be safely said that someone planning to enter the house in the forthcoming weeks should definitely observe Karan. It will be miracle if we don’t see him in the finale week.

Urvashi Dholakia was the winner of the 6th edition of Bigg boss,however, her due was only 50% of what her predecessors were getting. In short, she won only 50 lakh INR.

Under 50 lakh winners:

Rubina Dilaik was the winner of the most recent season of Bigg Boss- Bigg Boss 14, and her prize money was reduced to 36 lakh INR as Rakhi Sawant opted for leaving the house taking home 14 lakh INR from prize money.
Prize amount dipped further in the 11th season of Bigg Boss, which is considered to be the most controversial season in the history of the reality show. Shilpa won 44 lakh INR, and 6 lakh INR went into the account of Vikas Gupta.

Sardar Udham Singh staring Vicky Kaushal is going to premiere on 16^th October, 2021on Amazon Prime. Legendry actor late Irfan Khan was supposed to play the lead, but owing to his deteriorating health condition, and considering that the movie’s demand for strong physique, Irrfan had to pass it on. In fact, Irrfan himself had asked the director Shoojit Sirkar to go ahead with the project with any other actor.

Vicky Kaushal: the best possible replacement

No one can dare to doubt about the talent that Irrfan was or the grace at which he would have pulled the character. However, it’s true at the same time that no one doubts Vicky’s talent as well. No room for ‘gentlemen’ in Bigg Boss house | Sahil Shroff evicted

So, Bigg Boss 15 has witnessed its first elimination, and it was none other than Sahil Shroff. Strange part is that Salman’s abuse has made rather bigger noise than Sahil’s elimination.

Whatever one could see of him on VootOTT, Sahil seemed to have an interesting personality with full of engaging stories. In fact, his life has been full of struggles. A well-educated Sahil, having a Master’s degree in IT, a successful super model, and has acted in films like Don 2 as well.

Starting from being a passionate cricketer, to spending six years in Australia, working there as a bouncer, simply because it was a well-paid job, Sahil’s life is packed with interesting tales. But who cares? Such naïve and gentlemanly things are only meant for the OTT platforms, not for the main TV show. Yes none of his stories made it to the main TV show but one could see it on Voot. And it top it all, people like Rakhi Sawant, who are known for their ‘no talent, only drama’ image were there to teach Sahil, not take the show lightly.

Of course, those who like Rakhi Sawant’s antics, may not find Sahil interesting. But, people those who have made Rahul Roy a winner would definitely see potential in Sahil’s game. Now, the question is -has the show become rather a controversy manufacturing house rather than anengaging reality show?

The show basically asks its contestants to be genuine as possible. A genuine human being would try to maintain peace rather than creating chaos for footage. But problem is that the Bigg Boss encourages only ‘bad boys’.

In this context, the statement of Sahil Shrof post eviction is worth a read. Sahil’s claim after getting evicted was that, despite getting involved in various household chores, nothing made it to the show. He said, the show prioritizes fights.

Are those days gone when Big Boss had room for gentlemen like Rahul? No way he would survived in the later seasons – not doing any drama, not shedding a drop of tear, not hurling abuses or throwing tantrums. Patience, intellect, wisdom, and genuineness were the elements of his characteristics those led him to win the trophy.

After winning the trophy, Rahul’s statement was, “Have blind faith in God. If your thoughts are correct, you will win. I was strong and did not indulge in any sort of game plan but was just myself and I got personal satisfaction. My wife had told me,’ just be yourself. Your patience and understanding will work’. Which I think it did.”

Rahul’s twin brother Rohit Roy has this to say about his brother’s victory, “I attribute it to Rahul’s boarding school background. He was the House captain during his academic years. He has always had a tolerant and calm temperament.”

Hope, in forthcoming years Bigg Boss creates some room for contestants those who idolize Rahul, at least for the sake of change.

Finding the name of Umar Riaz, brother of Asim Riaz, among the list of contestants for Bigg Boss 15, the thought that Asim would have recommended Umar, popping up in the mind is quite obvious. Well, if you are also thinking on the same lines, it’s time you rethink. Most people don’t actually know that Umar Riaz is a general surgeon who has turned into a model recently. Umar said that it had always been his dream to be a part of the entertainment industry.

Umar revealed that he got an offer for Bigg Boss OTT as well. However he declined as he believes Bigg Boss is meant for TV, rather than the OTTs. Furthermore, Umar expressed his desire of performing and showcasing his talent.

According to him, the makers of Bigg Boss witnessed potential in him through his work and approached him. Putting an end to all speculation, Umar made it clear that Asim never approached the makers of Bigg Boss. Umar however accepted that Asim did share a few valuable tips with him.

Bigg Boss 1:

Bigg Boss 1 hosted by Arshad Warsi got decent TRPs. Its opening episode managed to get 2.36 and the finale got 2.87. The average rating of the show was 2.72. But in hindsight the first season was the least popular season in terms of TRP.

Bigg Boss 2:

The second season hosted by Shilpa Shetty witnessed a better TRP as its opening episode got 2.42 rating and finale got 3.02 rating points. Average rating of the season was 2.89.

Bigg Boss 3:

Bigg Boss 3 hosted by Amitabh Bachchan got a TRP rating of only 1.96 in its opening episode, and the finale got 3.06. The average rating for the season was 2.83.

Opening episode of Bigg Boss 9 hosted by Salman had got 3.18 TRP while the finale had a 2.97 rating. Average rating of the show was only 2.90.

Opening episode of Big Boss 11 broke all records with a TRP rating of 6.35. Finale was even more significant at 8.93 TRP. Average TRP of the show was 6.99.

There is no reliable record for the opening and finale episode of Bigg Boss 12. Its average TRP was said to be less than 3.

Bigg Boss is the most awaited reality show for all avid TV watchers. The show grabs eyeballs from the very day of its announcement. It’s not just about the tasks or fights; rather it’s the life of the contestants that keeps viewers hooked and makes fans eager to know all the details about the show and the contestants. One of the most enquired for aspects is about the payouts. Needless to say that Bigg Boss is one of the most challenging, gruesome, and hectic TV shows for any participant. This is the reason show Producers shell out a significant amount to get contestants to participate. According to media reports, here is what the contestants are allegedly earning.

Note that the host Salman Khan is being paid 350 crore rupees for hosting the whole season of the show.

Among contestants, Jay Bhanushali is the highest paid contestant, whereas Simba Nagpal is the lowest. Reportedly, Jay will get a significant amount of rupees 11 lakh for every week he survives in the house.
