A big-ticket entertainer is in the making, as superstar Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Karan Johar are coming together for a movie slated to release in 2018. Salman Khan, Karan Johar are producing a film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
Akki took to Twitter to make one of the first biggest announcements of Bollywood in 2017.

Karan, who has previously worked with Salman in his debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, said he is supremely excited about the movie to be directed by Anurag Singh.
“Supremely excited to co-produce with @BeingSalmanKhan #SKF on a film starring @akshaykumar directed by Anurag Singh…releasing 2018! “Truly a fraternity feeling when friends come together to make a special film!!!,”
he wrote.
Akshay and Salman’s friendship goes back a long way and both have starred together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Jaan-E-Mann. Salman has always gone out of his way to praise Akshay as the only actor from their times who has grown both in terms of acting and stature. The Sultan star even made a surprise entry at 2.O launch in Mumbai to lend support to Akshay Kumar’s southern magnum opus starring Rajinikanth. “Joining hands where Akshay Kumar is the hero and will be co-produced by Karan Johar and Salman Khan films, ” tweeted Salman.
Director Anurag Singh is not only the highest paid director of Punjabi cinema but also a national award winner for Best Feature Film in Punjabi. Among the films he has directed include Punjab 1984, the Jatt and Juliet series and Yaar Annmulle.
