From their dresses to their appearances at shows, the comparisons between Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were going over the top.
With Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra slaying the international platform like a boss, comparison between the two is bound to happen. While Deepika made her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Priyanka will be seen sharing screen space with ‘The Rock‘ Dwayne Johnson in her upcoming film Baywatch.
Both the actresses have been pitted against each other on many occasions, including The Ellen Show, Golden Globe Awards and their similar fashion tastes. In fact, PeeCee was also trolled for her blink and miss glimpse in the Baywatch trailer and it was compared with Deepika’s hefty appearance in xXx trailer.
While Priyanka has time and again cleared that there is nothing such as rivalry between the two, now Deepika has also confirmed the same.

In an interview with USA Today, Deepika Padukone clarified that she and Priyanka are not in any cometition and said:
It’s not fair to make comparisons. Let me just say everyone has a different path and journey.

And not only Deepika, but PeeCee herself praised the actress for her achievements and wished the best for her. In an interview with ANI, Priyanka also said:
I always say Deepika is extremely talented and beautiful. I wish her the best for xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The trailers look amazing. I hope she gets the recognition that she is aiming for.
Actress Sonam Kapoor is also going the ‘Hollywood way’ following her contemporaries DP and Peecee, as the ‘Neerja’ star has signed with United Talent Agency (UTA), one of America’s topmost talent agencies.
Now that we know both the actresses share a good repo and there’s enough room in Hollywood for the two ladies to thrive and make India proud at a global platform, let’s just stop making such comparisons.
