Bollywood beautiful and cute actress Alia Bhatt and Bollywood hero Vicky Kaushal has finally wrapped up its shoot for the movie “Raazi”. The film’s leading lady took to her social networking handle to bid an emotional goodbye to the film, its director and her character.

“Raazi” is based on the novel “Calling Sehmat”. “Razzi is scheduled to release on May 11, 2018.

Ace Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt joined popular author Amish Tripathi in launching the trailer of his upcoming book.

The trailer of Tripathi’s highly-anticipated book “Sita – Warrior of Mithila” was launched on Tuesday at Granth Bookstore in Juhu, Mumbai. The author along with Alia Bhatt unveiled the fearless warrior visual of Lady Sita through the unique book trailer.

In Amish’s book, Lady Sita is depicted as a strong and independent woman. This unique portrayal of Lady Sita has raised anticipation for the book and the new trailer further creates excitement for the readers.

Commenting on the trailer, Tripathi said: “I am delighted to have launched this trailer, to give an audio-visual image of Lady Sita the way She is in my book. And I am equally delighted that Alia, a strong woman achiever who has balanced commercial cinema with social messages, graced this event to launch the trailer”.

The actress known for creating her mark in Bollywood by consciously opting for diverse and powerful roles also added: “It was great to have met Amish for the first time for his new book Sita – Warrior of Mithila’s trailer launch. And I am glad that our first meeting will be so special. I have read the Immortals of Meluha and loved it. I think Amish has a knack of expressing our mythology in a very contemporary modern way. He is bold and brave and I like that about his books! His books are not just books… They are an experience!”

The much-awaited book, the second of the Ram Chandra series, will release on May 29 in Mumbai.

Actress Alia Bhatt has praised filmmaker S.S. Rajamoulis magnum opus “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” and says she is keen to work with its lead actor Prabhas.

Alia spoke about Prabhas while chatting with her fans on Twitter on Sunday.

“Need a new word for this giant. Rock-buster? Loved it.. it was epic,” Alia tweeted when a fan asked her to describe “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” in one word.

Alia later said she considers Prabhas as her favourite south Indian actor.

Asked whether she would like to work with Prabhas, Alia wrote: “For sure!”

The 24-year-old currently has films like “Dragon” and “Gully Boy” in her kitty.

She said she is “excited” about “Dragon”, which also features Ranbir Kapoor.

Actress-entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty, who often shoots videos to share various food tips with her fans on every Sunday, got surprised when she bumped into actress Alia Bhatt.

The two later ended up shooting together and enjoyed eating Easter eggs.

As part of her “Sunday Binge” series on Instagram, Shilpa posted a video on Sunday in which she can be seen alongside Alia.

“My Sunday binge is always sweet, but today it just got sweeter with the sweetest Alia Bhatt (who thankfully eats). Bumped into her and we couldn’t resist doing the ‘Sunday Binge’ together. The Shilpa Shetty channel,” Shilpa wrote alongside the video.

Shilpa has been away from the silver screen for a while now, but Alia was last seen in the March 2017 film “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”, which went on to mint over Rs 100 crore.

Actress Alia Bhatt, who has just turned 24, will host a special screening of “Beauty and The Beast” for children from an NGO.

The actress supports an NGO called Angel Express Foundation and the screening will be held specially for its children here on Thursday at a suburban preview theatre.

Alia will be joined by her friends and family members too, said a source from Disney which has produced the film.

“Beauty And The Beast”, starring Emma Watson, is among the most awaited family musicals this year. It will release in India on Friday.

Directed by Bill Condon, the film also stars Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Stanley Tucci, Kevin Kline and Ewan McGregor.

The film is a live-action remake of Disney’s 1991 film of the same name, itself an adaptation of Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont’s fairy tale.

“Fans will also get a chance to enjoy the endearing chemistry between Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan,” the statement read.

Zee Cine Awards 2017 will be held on March 11, and will be telecast on Zee Cinema on a later date.
