Last year, when Sonakshi was promoting “Akira” in Delhi, Badshah joined her for an impromptu gig.

Popular for his independent albums such as “Born Star” and “Terminator”, he has also rapped for films such as “Fugly”, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, “Shivaay” and “Ok Jaanu”.

His latest song is “Tamma tamma again” from Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”.

Actor Varun Dhawan got flowers for his “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” co-star Alia Bhatt on Valentines Day.

Vaidehi is the character Alia plays in “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”. Alia thanked Varun and also shared a photograph of the actor, saying: “Thanks Badri. Here, I have a fool (flower) for you too.”

Varun and Alia are gearing up for the release of the upcoming film.

This will be the third time the duo will be seen together. Varun and Alia made their acting debut with filmmaker Karan Johar’s “Student Of The Year” in 2012 and in 2014 the two were seen in “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania”.

“Badrinath Ki Dulhania”, which is the second film in the “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” franchise, is directed by Shashank Khaitan. Produced by Karan Johar, the film is slated for release on March 10.

Old is always gold: Bappi Lahiri on ‘Tamma tamma’

Bappi Lahiri, the original composer of the 1990s’ hit song “Tamma tamma” — a reprised version of which has been used in upcoming comedy “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” — says the track will always be considered special.

In a video message, shared by actress Alia Bhatt on her Twitter page, Bappi said: “Tamma Tamma’ is back again. Old is always gold.”

Starring Alia and Varun Dhawan in the lead, “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”, the second film in the “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” franchise, has been directed by Shashank Khaitan.

The film marks the third time collaboration of Varun and Alia. Both of them made their acting debut with “Student of the Year”.

Actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt have released the teaser of their upcoming film “Badrinath Ki Dulhania”.

Along with the 48-second teaser, the first poster of the film was also unveiled on Monday.

Varun, who will essay the role of Badrinath in the film, took to Twitter to share the first look.

“Hum hain Badrinath Bansal… Aur yeh hai ‘Badri Ka Teaser’ (I am Badrinath Bansal and this is Badri’s teaser),” Varun tweeted.

In the teaser, Varun is seen getting his proposal photographs clicked at a studio, alongside the cut-outs of actresses like Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Alia also shared the first look on Twitter.

“Badrinath Bansal being his usual funny adorable self! ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ Badri’s teaser. Varun Dhawan,” Alia wrote.

The trailer of the Shashank Khaitan-directed movie will be out on February 2 ahead of the film’s release on March 10.

Actors Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are shooting a schedule for their upcoming film “Badrinath Ki Dulhania” in Singapore.

The 29-year-old actor shared the update about the film with his fans and followers on Twitter on Tuesday night.

“‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. Here are the pictures officially Alia Bhatt Shashan Khaitan, Karan Johar. Singapore Diaries,” Varun wrote along side two photographs of himself with Alia.

The Dharma Productions film is set to release the film on March 10 next year.
