A new song ‘Gori Tu Latth Maar’ from the film ‘Toilet- Ek Prem Katha’ has just been released. The colourful Holi song shows Akshay Kumar trying to console his upset wife played by Bhumi Pednekar. This festive song is sure to add more colour to Holi.

It is sung by Sonu Nigam & Palak Muchhal.

This movie is a satirical take on a battle against the age-old tradition of open defecation in the country. From the panchayat to the sanitation department, from the role of the government to the superstitions of the villagers, from scams to the ethos, from first love to a matured romance.

The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Divyendu Sharma, Sudhir Pandey, Shubha Khote and Anupam Kher.

It’s time to be a part of Keshav and Jaya’s anokhi love story! Presenting the trailer of Toilet- Ek Prem Katha.

Toilet – Ek Prem Katha traces the love story between a simple man Keshav (Akshay Kumar) and progressive Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar), set in two villages near Mathura. 

The film is a satirical take on a battle against the age old tradition of open defecation in the country. From the panchayat to the sanitation department, from the role of the government to the superstitions of the villagers, from scams to the ethos, from first love to a matured romance.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, it will reportedly have Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan campaign as its base subject, and a satirical flavour within a love story.

Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar have started shooting for their upcoming film “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan” in the capital.

“Shubh ho… Roll sound camera action ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ shoot begins. God is kind. Congrats R.S. Prasanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar, Krishika Lulla,” Rai tweeted.

Ayushmann on Tuesday had tweeted that the team was jetting off to Delhi for a joyride.

“Taking off to Delhi for a joyride called ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’. Rolling tomorrow. Aanand L Rai, Bhumi Pednekar and R.S. Prasanna,” Ayushmann tweeted.

This will be the second time Bhumi and Ayushmann after working together in the National Award winning film “Dum Laga Ke Haisha”.

The film is the remake of Tamil comedy “Kalyana Samayal Saadham”. To be helmed by R.S. Prasanna, who directed the original, the film will be jointly produced by Aanand L Rai and Eros.

Starring Prasanna and Lekha Washington, “Kalyana Samayal Saadham” was about a big fat south Indian wedding with a quirky twist.
