Comedian Bharti Singh was amazed to learn that she has fans outside India too.

Bharti recently took a short vacation to New York for a break from her TV show “Comedy Nights Bachao”, private event performances and brand endorsements. She was accompanied by her close friends and family.

As she was shopping, her fans in New York requested her for photos and a meeting with her, read a statement.

“It feels overwhelming to get so much love and appreciation from audiences. It is amazing to know that people recognise me not only in India, but even outside this country. This fondness and accolades give me a boost to perform better with each passing day and makes me proud of what I am doing,” Bharti said.

Actress Radhika Apte got angry with a media reporter for asking about the leaked nude scenes in her last release “Parched”. Radhika slammed the reporter at the launch of Swatch watches. Recently, the leaked intimate scene between Adil Hussain and Radhika from “Parched” created a big controversy. “Sorry, your question is very ridiculous. Controversies are made by the people like you. You saw the clip, you shared with other people, so you made the controversy,”

Radhika has not been shy from speaking her mind. Rather than keeping quiet about the controversy, she stressed in all her interviews how the film was much more than that one ‘sex’ leaked scene.

She said: “I am an artist… if I am required to do a certain job then I will do it. If you get out of your cocoon and look at the world cinema and what people are doing abroad and that is too successfully then you would have not probably asked this question. 

“I am not ashamed of anything. People who are embarrassed about their own body are curious about other’s body. So if you want to see a naked body tomorrow, see yourself in the mirror rather than my clip. Then only we can talk about this.”

Radhika has not been shy from speaking her mind. She also spoke about the recent Comedy Night Bachao controversy where actress Tannishtha Chatterjee and Radhika herself were roasted for their colour of their skin. Radhika also spoke in favour of the Pakistani actors.
