The wedding song of the season is here. The makers of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ have released the first song from the film called ‘Sweety Tera Drama’. The song is a perfect combination of dance and drama. The groovy song with it’s desi latkas and jhatkas will make you put on your dancing shoes.

The song ‘Sweety Tera Drama’ stars Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao.

The dance number has been sung by Dev Negi, Pawni Pandey and Shraddha Pandit.

‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ stars Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles.

The film seems to have a quirky and vibrant feel to it. It is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Soon after creating a stir with the poster, the makers have released the promo of the ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi. It is a romantic comedy rooted in the subculture of the north Indian city Bareilly. The promo shows two men trying to woo the same woman. 

‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ stars Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles.

Actrors Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao on Tuesday released the first look of their upcoming film ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, which has quirky and vibrant feel to it.

The first poster showed Kriti holding a book, titled ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, over her head against a backdrop of colourful flowers. 

“I cant believe what I’ve just read? ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’…Just cant wait for you to read it..Here’s a glimpse,” Kriti captioned the poster on Twitter.

Rajkummar shared the poster and wrote: “This book changed my life. Here’s a glimpse of ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.”

Ayushmann wrote: “How did you manage to grab this one Kriti Sanon? How? This book is too special. ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.”

Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, “Bareilly Ki Barfi” is a romantic comedy rooted in the subculture of the north Indian city Bareilly.

Producers of Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal’s Telugu movie “Magadheera” on Thursday morning withdrew a plagiarism case they slapped against the makers of Bollywood film “Raabta”.

During the case hearing, several differences were cited in the script and storyline of the two films.

“We presented our case to the honourable court as to how the films are not similar. In the morning, the makers of ‘Magadheera’ withdrew their case,” Dinesh Vijan, director of “Raabta”, told IANS.

Lawyers representing “Raabta” makers argued at a court on Wednesday that the background of the lead characters, their storyline development, the role of villain, the foreign locations and most importantly the finale of the film are completely and materially different from “Magadheera”.

A statement issued on behalf of the “Raabta” team said the lawyers pointed out that the concerns of the makers of “Magadheera” that the warriors scene has been lifted in “Raabta” were unfounded as there was no such scene either in their film or the trailer.

“Unlike ‘Magadheera’, the villainous character was, in fact, an anti-hero and a parallel interest point for the heroine. Even in the back story depicting the past life of characters, the hero of the film actually plays a negative character for most part,” the statement read further.

“Raabta” features actress Kriti Sanon, and it will now release on Friday. “Magadheera”, which came out in 2009, was directed by S.S. Rajamouli.

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput says that he shares a very special bond with his “Raabta” co-star Kriti Sanon as he feels that she is very transparent and hard working.

Excerpts from the interview:

Q. The chemistry between you and Kriti is scorching and sizzling. Is there more to this on-screen chemistry than meets the eye?

Kriti listens to every thing happening in a scene intently and reacts to it and I try and do the same. This is the only reason I feel that most of the times the chemistry between us is appreciated. It was there even when we were auditioning together for the first time and didn’t know each other.

Q. How would you define and describe your relationship with Kriti?

Kriti is a very dear and a special friend. There are many things that we can talk about, and share similar passions. Delhi background, engineering, food, films. She is also very transparent and a very hard working actor, which I absolutely admire.

Q. “Raabta” is a film about love afterlife. Do you still believe in eternal love?

I don’t believe in afterlife or reincarnation. I also can’t make too much sense of life itself. But I genuinely feel if there’s anything worth doing, it has to be for love.

Q. “Raabta” comes in the midst of an unprecedented wave of Hollywood biggies like “Pirates Of The Caribbean”, “Wonder Woman”, “Baywatch”, “The Mummy”, not to mention “Baahubali”. How confident are you of your film making an impact?

Filmmaking, I feel, is a subjective experience. So, as an actor I can’t comment on that. Having said that I feel that if a movie is engaging enough to not let you think about anything else, it definitely resonates with audience and according to me “Raabta” is an extremely engaging film.

The makers of “Raabta” have released another song “Darasal” in the heartfelt voice of Atif Aslam. The romantic song shows the wonderful chemistry between Sushant Singh Rajput and his rumoured girlfriend Kriti Sanon. In the video Shiv and Saira are seen indulging in some cute and romantic things, each trying to impress each other. It is shot in the beautiful streets of Europe. 

The Film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The Film is set to release on 9th June however it is unclear because producer Allu Arvind of Telugu film Magadheera has sought injunction against the film’s release over copyright infringement.

The makers of Raabta have released a new song ‘Lambiyaan Si Judaiyaan’ in the soulfoul voice of Arijit Singh. It has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by JAM8. It is the new heartbreak song on the block as it captures the emotional journey of Shiv and Saira as they fall apart and long to be with each other. This is a slow break up song. The other songs of the movie are romantic numbers.

Raabta is based on the concept of reincarnation. The Film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. It also stars Jim Sarbh and Rajkummar Rao in key roles. The Film releases on 9th June.

The Sadda song from the movie Raabta has already gone viral on the internet.

The song in the voice of Diljit Dosanjh and Pardeep Singh Sran composed by Pritam and penned by Irshad Kamil and Amitabh Bhattacharya is pictured on actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant shot for the last schedule of the forthcoming film here earlier this year. The actor shot for the high energy song, “Saada move”, which showcases famous spots of Amritsar. 

“Dinesh wanted this song to have the vibes of the city and so we decided to shoot it at real locations. Everything had to be very well planned. It was challenging, but a lot of fun,” Sushant had said in a statement. “Saada move” is his introductory song and so the leading lady of the film, Kriti Sanon was not present during the shoot of this number. 

So Sushant made his “Raabta” co-star Kriti taste the flavours of Amritsar by taking her to various hot spots of the city recently.

The two, who were here earlier this week to begin promotion of the Dinesh Vijan directorial, visited a dhaba and had sugarcane juice. They also interacted with a few locals during their visit.

“Raabta” is set to release on June 9.
