Salman Khan has done it again. He blew everyone’s mind by sending a legal reply to the National Commission for Women (NCW). The reply has been sent by Salman’s lawyer, and it apparently does not contain any apology, according to the NCW.

The women’s commission had summoned Salman for making insensitive comments while describing the gruelling shoot of his upcoming movie Sultan. Salman in a media interaction had said that he felt like a “raped woman” after shooting fight sequences of the film.

His comment invited a lot of criticism from all sections, despite his family coming out to support him, like always. The NCW, meanwhile, is in no mood of letting Salman go easily. Lalitha Kumaramangalam, NCW chief, informed that the commission will reply to Salman soon.

“The reply has come from his lawyer, which means it is a legal reply. So we can’t just reply off the cuff,” Kumaramangalam said. “We will finalise the report by Thursday and then dispatch our reply to Khan. After that, we will make public both his letter to NCW and our decision.”

According to reports, in his reply Salman has said that the comments were not made intentionally, and the whole controversy has affected his image. He has allegedly also cited double jeopardy over the panel, which is handling the matter.

Meanwhile on Wednesday, the Bollywood superstar was asked by the state panel to appear on July 7. It is not clear whether he will turn up or not. “That would be decided that day,” Vijaya Rahatkar, MSCW chairperson, said.
