After Pulkit Samrat’s revelation about his wife, it is time to hear the other side of the story, as Shweta Rohira has come out in the open to reveal about his relation, and what went wrong in their once nothing-short-of-fairly-tale-romantic relationship.

But, things went haywire within one year of their relationship. Shweta in her recent interview termed her marriage with Pulkit a ‘mistake’. She even accused Pulkit’s rumored girlfriend, Yami Gautam, for being a ‘homebreaker’.

“I was living in an illusion. I trusted Pulkit,” Shweta said. “The film industry is a very small world. I get to know things about him even if I don’t want to. Yami was the smoke that led to whatever happened between Pulkit and me.”

“She is a home-breaker. Pulkit has always led a dual life for some reason,” she added. “He did not declare me as his wife for the longest time, and now he is saying that he is not dating Yami.”

“It’s time he becomes transparent,” Shweta stressed. “All said and done, my marriage with Pulkit was a mistake and I have learned the lesson the hard way.”

In the interview Shweta revealed that at her mother’s house Yami and Pulkit used to spend time together, and called the former a catalyst, which ended her marriage.

“Yami broke my marriage,” Shweta accused. “I have finally come out of my illusion; so many people cannot lie. Everything was fine between us until one person came in between.”

After a long relationship, Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira tied knots, and everything was going well for the couple when they hit a roadblock. The couple called off their marriage. Pulkit’s closeness with Yami Gautam was sighted as one of the reasons for the breakup.

Despite so many speculations, Pulkit always maintained a dignified silence on the issue. But, a recent tabloid report, revealing the couple had a miscarriage four years ago, made Pulkit to come out and tell his side of the story. He made some shocking revelations on the entire issue.

“I can try to give it a graceful end, but not alone,” Pulkit said to Hindustan Times. “If you talk something else on the face and do something else behind my back and backstab me… This is not only false, but also unethical,” he added. “If I would not have spoken out right now, I would call myself spineless… it’s shameful and hurtful.”

Pulkit said he was shocked to hear about the miscarriage news in the media, while adding that it was done to malign his image. The Fukrey star said when he came to know that Shweta had leaked that news, his relationship “truly ended”. He also termed the entire episode “ethically unacceptable”.

The Sanam Re actor accused Shweta’s mother for interfering in their relationship, and influencing her decisions. Pulkit said that he respects a mother-daughter relation, but it doesn’t mean that one should cross the line, and starts to impede someone’s personal space.

“There’s a certain line that needs to be drawn, which every mother and daughter understands,” Pulkit pointed out. “You don’t want so much interference; you can’t do this in my house and claim that this guy only belongs to me and my mother.”

Meanwhile, Pulkit praised Yami for maintaining a “dignified silence” on the issue, despite being at the receiving end in the media reports. Yami was termed as the reason why Pulkit and Shweta parted way. Pulkit said that Yami was target for no reason whatsoever.

“I think she has got real strength, more than me, to maintain a dignified silence,” Pulkit insisted. “I think she has been on the receiving end of this entire campaign, which aims to malign me and her, because we were shooting for two back-to-back films.”
