Akshay kumar starrer Padman’s Trailer released on Friday and it has already gone viral on the net. The movie is based on India’s first ever superhero who makes sanitary pad for his wife and welfare of the society for which he was invited in America to give a motivational speech.

The two-minutes 22 seconds long trailer shows a discussion on women mensuration hygiene, a topic still considered taboo in many parts of the country.

The trailer is promising and will break all the stereotypes in the country with Akshay Kumar in central role and great comic timing, while Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte will play two parraral characters.

Directed by R Balki and voice over by Amitabh Bhachhan, Padman is a movie based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who brought a revolution by introducing a low-cost sanitary napkin machine for rural women, who cannot afford and also do not have access to menstrual hygiene products within the area.

Radhika Apte is known for bold acts in her movies. But this time around the Bollywood actress’s hot photo shoot has created quite a stir in the social media.

One semi-nude picture of Radhika Apte’s recent photo shoot for a apparel brand, has gone viral online.

The picture was shot by photographer Ashish Shah and shared by designer Nimish Shah on his Instagram. Reacting to the picture Radhika said that she is keen on doing another shoot soon.

Last year also an online intimate scene of Radhika with Adil Hussain from the movie Parched had become quite the talking point.

Radhika Apte got angry with a media reporter for asking about the leaked nude scenes in “Parched”. She added, “I am not ashamed of anything. People who are embarrassed about their own body are curious about other’s body. So if you want to see a naked body tomorrow, see yourself in the mirror rather than my clip. Then only we can talk about this.”

Actress Radhika Apte got angry with a media reporter for asking about the leaked nude scenes in her last release “Parched”. Radhika slammed the reporter at the launch of Swatch watches. Recently, the leaked intimate scene between Adil Hussain and Radhika from “Parched” created a big controversy. “Sorry, your question is very ridiculous. Controversies are made by the people like you. You saw the clip, you shared with other people, so you made the controversy,”

Radhika has not been shy from speaking her mind. Rather than keeping quiet about the controversy, she stressed in all her interviews how the film was much more than that one ‘sex’ leaked scene.

She said: “I am an artist… if I am required to do a certain job then I will do it. If you get out of your cocoon and look at the world cinema and what people are doing abroad and that is too successfully then you would have not probably asked this question.

Radhika has not been shy from speaking her mind. She also spoke about the recent Comedy Night Bachao controversy where actress Tannishtha Chatterjee and Radhika herself were roasted for their colour of their skin. Radhika also spoke in favour of the Pakistani actors.

Shirish Kunder’s comeback short-film ‘Kriti’ has come under scrutiny, after news went viral that it is copied from a Nepali film ‘Bob’. It is been said that the writer has lifted the plot almost completely, and there are similarities between a number of scenes.

‘Bob’, directed by Aneel Neupane, went online last year. Neupane took on Facebook, and said that he was “shocked to find so much similarities” between Bob and Kriti, and alleged that “Shirish Kunder practically stole the plot and made it into his film”.

Kunder, meanwhile, termed all allegations as baseless, adding that it is virtually not possible to copy the idea, as when ‘Bob’ was released ‘Kriti’ was already in the post-production. He added that these untrue allegations “just spoil the fun of everything”.

“That short film (‘Bob’) was released on May 12 whereas we shot ‘Kriti’ in February, after which it was in post-production,” Kunder pointed out. “How is it even possible to ‘lift’ the idea, unless I was time travelling? These allegations are technically, factually and logically, baseless.”

The movie featuring Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte and Neha Sharma has received positive reviews from both fans and critics, after its release on Wednesday. Bajpayee is essaying a writer’s role, while Apte is playing his friend/therapist, and Neha is portraying a agoraphobic girlfriend.
