Ace Bollywood actress, Alia Bhatt joined popular author Amish Tripathi in launching the trailer of his upcoming book.

The trailer of Tripathi’s highly-anticipated book “Sita – Warrior of Mithila” was launched on Tuesday at Granth Bookstore in Juhu, Mumbai. The author along with Alia Bhatt unveiled the fearless warrior visual of Lady Sita through the unique book trailer.

In Amish’s book, Lady Sita is depicted as a strong and independent woman. This unique portrayal of Lady Sita has raised anticipation for the book and the new trailer further creates excitement for the readers.

Commenting on the trailer, Tripathi said: “I am delighted to have launched this trailer, to give an audio-visual image of Lady Sita the way She is in my book. And I am equally delighted that Alia, a strong woman achiever who has balanced commercial cinema with social messages, graced this event to launch the trailer”.

The actress known for creating her mark in Bollywood by consciously opting for diverse and powerful roles also added: “It was great to have met Amish for the first time for his new book Sita – Warrior of Mithila’s trailer launch. And I am glad that our first meeting will be so special. I have read the Immortals of Meluha and loved it. I think Amish has a knack of expressing our mythology in a very contemporary modern way. He is bold and brave and I like that about his books! His books are not just books… They are an experience!”

The much-awaited book, the second of the Ram Chandra series, will release on May 29 in Mumbai.

‘Rock On 2’ trailer is out! The vibrant look and powerful portrayal by lead actors, joined by Shraddha Kapoor, seem to have all the ingredients to better the Abhishek Kapoor’s 2008 hit ‘Rock On.’

The sequel helmed by director Shujaat Saudagar has put together a tight promo, with the lead actors from the original depicting older looks and this time the movie is based out of the North-east of India.

.Farhan Akhtar, Purab Kohli and Arjun Rampal play buddy again. This time there’s no Luke Kenny but there’s Shraddha along with Prachi Desai and Shahana Goswami, who return to play Farhan and Arjun’s wives again.

The music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is already being appreciated. ‘Rock On!! 2’ is slated to release on 11^th November.

The team of ‘Rock On 2’ at the trailer launch included actor-singer Farhan Akhtar, the film’s producer Ritesh Sidwani, actor Purab Kohli, Shraddha Kapoor, Prachi Desai and Shashank Arora.

Talking about the story of the film Farhan Akhtar said, “Being the sequel of Rock On!! the story of the film revolves around the earlier characters but with different twist and turns. It is the continuous journey of the band – Magik.”

Farhan said that while the first film is about four guys who created Magik, this film is about how the journey of ‘Magik’ continues as young musicians join the band.

Shashank, being one of the new characters in the film, talked about his experience working on such an iconic film and said, ” As Rock On!! has created a benchmark, I felt immense pressure to deliver the best. But as everyone treated me like family, I worked comfortably and tried my best to contribute to the film.”

Prachi Desai, feeling emotional and nostalgic said, “I made my Bollywood debut with Rock On!! It’s been eight years and now I am a part of the sequel. My character goes through an internal conflict and emotional journey in this film. The character has matured and has a new look. I hope people like it.”

Farhan completed 15 years in Bollywood, as he directed his first film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ in 2001, which has achieved a cult following.

Talking about his journey as actor, director, singer and writer, he said, “When you work out of passion, you don’t think much about challenges. You do not calculate what you have to compromise to get creative satisfaction. You work with joy!”

Like their song Kala Chasma, their trailer also showcased the lead pair, Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra’s sizzling chemistry. Even the comfort level between the two was in full display at the trailer launch of the film. In reply to a reporter’s question, Katrina Kaif admitted that she was never behind Sidharth Malhotra to marry her in real life but curious to know what he would say.

Sidharth also revealed details about Katrina’s diet during the filming of Baar Baar Dekho. The couple’s friendly banter also took in the film’s director Nitya Mehra, who also had to face the music.

The much anticipated trailer of Baar baar dekho was launched during the event. The movie is a love story with a twist. The movies is produced by Dharma Productions and the new pairing has certainly given a refreshing look. Katrina’s look and her perfect abs has already been a huge attraction for her fans.

When Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor shared the stage at the trailer launch of ‘Udta Punjab’ they became the talk of the town. The press scrutinized their every move and chemistry real close. And the ex-flames one particular awkward moment when Kareena refused to be clicked with Shahid as a pair was highlighted. But now Shahid has come out with a clarification for doing so.

At the Udta Punjab trailer launch, Shahid and Kareena had acted all cool with Alia Bhatt strategically placed between the two on the stage.
