Cricketer Zaheer Khan and Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge are officially engaged now. Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan who announced their relationship on Instagram last month, finally exchanged rings in a grand ceremony in Mumbai. The ceremony was a star-studded affair as many cricketers and Bollywood stars attended their ceremony – Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh all attended.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has praised star batsman Yuvraj Singh, calling him a “champion” after India’s ODI victory against England on Thursday.

Amitabh on Thursday took to Twitter to praise the Punjab southpaw.

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actress Hazel Keech tied the knot on Wednesday as per Sikh traditions at a gurdwara in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib district.

Sporting a red Sherwani with cream coloured churidar, Yuvraj was all decked up as the groom with a red turban and ‘Sehraa’. Yuvraj grew a beard for the ceremony.

Hazel wore a heavily embroidered Lehenga with her head covered with an embroidered dupatta.

The marriage ceremony was solemnized as per Sikh traditional ‘Anand Karaj’ at the gurdwara in Dufera village in Fatehgarh Sahib village, about 40 km from here. The gurdwara was decorated for the occasion.

Traditional ‘dholis’ and singers were present outside the gurdwara as part of the wedding celebrations.

Yuvraj’s mother Shabnam Singh, relatives and close friends were among the limited number of guests.

Yuvraj’s father, ex-cricketer Yograj Singh, did not attend the ceremony at the gurdwara. He had attended another function of his cricketer son at a hotel here on Tuesday evening.

Security arrangements were in place at the wedding venue. The ceremony was followed with a party in Chandigarh.

Wedding of the year: Yuvraj Singh all set to Wed Hazel Keech

The couple ushered in their wedding functions with a Cocktail Sangeet on Tuesday evening at a hotel where they were joined by the Indian cricket team, which earlier won the third test match against England in Mohali.

The Sangeet function was held at the same hotel where the Indian and England teams were staying.

Indian test team captain Virat Kohli, coach Anil Kumble and other team members joined Yuvraj and Hazel for the ceremony at the hotel.

The couple will have more celebrations in Mumbai and Goa followed by a big reception in New Delhi on December 7.

Indian Hockey captain P R Sreejesh and Olympic silver medalist Sushil Kumar also walked the ramp.

YWC Fashion comes out of Yuvraj’s venture YouWeCan. Talking to the media Yuvraj was at his wittiest best as he said that MS Dhoni will come and support this cause once only picks up his phone. Yuvraj also disclosed that he’s getting married his fiancee Hazel Keech on the first week of December.

Yuvraj Singh has launched YWC Fashion in collaboration with designers Shantanu and Nikhil. The cricket star said that all the profits from his clothing line will be used for the treatment of cancer patients through his NGO YouWeCan (YWC).

The result came as a big boost for the actors, who had lost in a previous encounter. KL Rahul and Yuvraj Singh scored for Virat Kohli’s XI.
